New Delhi, India, December 10, 2018: The Indian Olympic Association held its first ever International Olympic Committee Athlete Career Programme workshop with around 32 athletes, among them ace shooter Manu Bhaker, attending the inaugural event on Sunday.

FINA becomes 40th ITA partner

Hangzhou, China, December 9, 2018: World aquatics governing body FINA signed an anti-doping service agreement on Sunday afternoon with the International Testing Agency (ITA) - a Switzerland-based non-profit foundation which provides independent, expert anti-doping services.

The signing ceremony was held at the conclusion of the “Anti-Doping – Ensuring Fair Play in Aquatics” topic at the fifth FINA World Aquatics Convention in Hangzhou.

China face France in battle to reach last eight at World Cup

Odisha, India, December 8, 2018: China made it through to the knockout stages at the Hockey Men’s World Cup despite being thumped 11-0 by two-time defending champions Australia in their final pool game in Bhubaneswar.

Hangzhou officials look ahead to 19th Asian Games 2022

Hangzhou, China, December 8, 2018: The 14th FINA World Swimming Championships (25 metres) in Hangzhou, China next week will provide a big stepping stone on the road to the 19th Asian Games in 2022, according to government officials.

Saudi Arabia to organise international women’s taekwondo event

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, December 8, 2018: Saudi Arabia is set to host the first ever Islamic Women’s Taekwondo International Open Championships in the Kingdom next year.
